POSITION:    SPECIAL EDUCATION ELEMENTARY TEACHER

 

LOCATION:   ELEMENTARY BUILDING, Grades 2-3

This position will be for a Cross Categorical (Basic) Classroom Teacher.   Candidate must be Highly Qualified and hold an up-to-date certificate by the Michigan Department of Education for Elementary and Special Education endorsements.

 

Duties include case management for IEP process and following up rules and procedures as determined by the Michigan Department of Education.   This includes, but is not limited to, following all IEP process and timeline procedures.  The teacher must also demonstrate knowledge of the extended grade level content expectations for 2nd and 3rd grade in all core subject areas.  The teacher must also possess excellent classroom management skills and participate in planning and conducting individual student behavior plans with team members.

 

 

SALARY:  In accordance with the UTS Contract
