Qualifications

1. Valid Teaching Certificate. 

2. Master's Degree with major in content area. (Math)

3. A minimum of 3 years experience in content area.

4. Member of Building and District School Improvement Team. 
 
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
 1. Participate in professional development on data analysis and techniques.
 
 2. Assist and train staff on analyzing data and applying appropriate strategies to instructional program to enhance student achievement.
 
 3. Assist staff in aligning curriculum, instruction and assessment to state standards and programs. 
 
 4. Facilitate development and implementation of common assessments in content areas. 

 5. Assist staff in implementation of best practice relative to content areas  and incorporation of 4 R's. 
 
 6. Attend regularly scheduled staff meeting with central office administration for the purpose of coordination, collaboration and communication.
 
 7. Attend relevant school, district and professional meetings.
 
 8. Provide professional development to support staff in the attainment of established goals.
 
 9. Participate in program evaluation. 
 
10. Approximately 165 hours per year beyond the school day. Includes some summer work. 
 
11. Member of K-12 Curriculum Committee.

 Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
