TITLE:                                    ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT III - STUDENT DATA CLERK 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • High School diploma required.
  • Associates Degree in Business/Finance preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Business/Finance.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills along with attention to detail essential.
  • Proficiency in AS400, Outlook, Word, Excel and Power School as required.
  • Must have ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
  • Must be able to type 40 wpm and have filing and clerical skills.

REPORTS TO:          Student Data Coordinator

SUPERVISES:           N/A

JOB GOAL:               Assist Staff with district student database system (PowerSchool).  Assist Student Data Coordinator with monitoring district data quality.

 ASSIGNED RESPONSIBILITIES:   

  1. Interacts with Principals, Office Staff and Teachers as it pertains to student data.
  2. Performs tasks as assigned by Student Data Coordinator including but not limited to the maintenance / trouble shooting of the following system / programs:
  • PowerSchool
  • Central Enrollment
  • Preparing / Reporting Count Day Data
  • School of Choice Reconciliation
  • Scholastic Reader, Read Naturally, Career Cursing
  • Meal Magic
  • At Risk Data and Homeless Referrals
  • Life Touch
  • Providing Data as Requested
  • Other duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  11 month position, Full Time.

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be elevated annually by the Student Data Coordinator.
