Position Details: 

Within the College of Education and Human Services, the Partnership and Professional Readiness Assistant Director is responsible for coordinating, evaluating, and tracking program impact for PK-12 school/ district/ and ISD partnerships using student benchmarks of success. The Assistant Director measures quality improvement efforts for professional readiness initiatives developed specifically to enhance the professional development of teacher education candidates from their initial inquiry stage of college admission to their entry into the professional practice of teaching. This includes a program of support that spans the first 3-5 years of their professional experience after graduation from the program. The Assistant Director also supports the CEHS Center for Clinical Experiences efforts in providing high quality professional development to teacher education students, clinical faculty, and cooperating teachers in the field.Bachelor's degree in education. Five years of PK-12 teaching experience or equivalent experience. Experience in professional development design and implementation. Ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
