Position Details: 

The Principal serves as the instructional leader for Genesee Early College and is primarily responsible for the planning, administration, supervision and implementation of instructional programs and support services for students attending the Genesee Early College. The Principal supervises and evaluates staff, develops student/staff schedules and coordinates programs/activities to ensure high levels of student success in high school and college courses. The Principal serves as a liaison between the district, University of Michigan-Flint, constituent school districts and other local colleges and universities.
One (1) full-time position available; 37.5 hours per week.
Salary commensurate with education and experience.  
Administrative Contract
Health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance after one full day of employment. Employees shall be subject to the co-payment of health care costs in accordance with state law.
Master's degree in educational administration, secondary principal, curriculum development, educational leadership or a related field required.  Prefer graduate credit beyond the master's degree.  Valid Michigan teacher certificate in secondary education required; Administrative certification required.
Three years of secondary building principal or secondary assistant principal experience preferred.  Five years of successful teaching experience. Experience in an urban setting preferred. Working knowledge of dual enrollment legislation and guidelines preferred.
