Holy Spirit Catholic School, Norway, MI is currently accepting resumes for our K-8 Catholic School Elementary Principal for the 2018-2019 school year.   • Possess exemplary professional ethics and personal integrity.
  • Collaborate with the diocese and parish priest.
  • Communicates with students, parents, co-workers, supervisors, and local Intermediate School District and parish communities in a positive and responsive way that is consistently welcoming and enhances effective work relationships.
  • Ensure that all decisions are made with the best interests of students as the foremost consideration.
  • Set and maintain high expectations for student learning and behavior.
  • Set and maintain high expectations for teachers and staff.
  • Work with staff to identify professional needs and plan, organize, and facilitate programs
  • Demonstrates an appreciation of diversity in all interactions and job functions.
  • Effectively serve as the instructional leader of the school
  • Technologically proficient


  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Masters preferred
  • 3 - 5 years of teaching or administrative experience
  • Completion of background checks, fingerprinting, Virtus training upon hiring.
  • Experience in budgetary oversight and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to hold self and others accountable to high professional and ethical standards
  • Strong communication skills in problem solving and public and interpersonal relations
  • Familiarity or desire to learn the management of Title Funds via State of MI
  • Proven experience of time management skills  and delegation in a fast paced environment
