Administrative Opening for the 2018-2019 School Year (Beginning July 1)

Elementary School Principal (Grades K-2)

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Masters Degree in Educational Leadership/Curriculum, or equivalent
  • Michigan Administrative Certification, or equivalent, or ability to achieve certification
  • Valid Elementary Teacher Certification
  • Minimum of three years elementary teaching experience
  • Knowledge of Curriculum Development, Common Core Standards and Best Practices
  • Strong Background in early childhood literacy
  • Experience working with MDE School Improvement (Advanc-Ed) preferred & data analysis
  • Ability to work as a collaborative team leader
  • Commitment to Professional Learning Communities

Duties include responsibility for student management and discipline, supervision of all staff and programs within building.
