Position Details: 

The Board of Education for Kalkaska Public Schools is in search of a new superintendent.

Kalkaska is located in scenic northern Michigan with close proximity to Traverse City. The many lakes and streams lure travelers into the village. Kalkaska is host to the National Trout Festival every April and the Iceman Cometh biking challenge in November. The district of approximately 1500 students has a mission of “developing productive and civic minded lifelong learners.” 
The Board is seeking a superintendent who is a strong, collaborative leader with a solid background in curriculum and school finance.
