Position Details: 


  1. B.A. or B.S. in Education.
  2. Major, minor, or masters in areas focused on working with students that have difficulties in the core academic area.
  3. State of Michigan Certification to work with elementary/middle school aged students Grades 5-8.
  4. Successful experience working with at-risk students in the core academic areas.
  5. Highly Qualified in Mathematics preferred



1.Provide instruction and support in all core academic areas.

2.  Focus on reading skills, informational reading in social studies and science, basic math calculations and math computation. 

3.Develop and Implement written lesson plans.

4.Communicate with teachers, parents, and administrators in a timely manner.

5.Provide building administrator with assessment measurement every 2 weeks.

6.Will be teaching Math, Reading, Writing, Science, and/or Social Studies curriculum.

7.Other duties as deemed necessary by the building principal or Superintendent.

Salary: $24.94/ hour

Position Length:  June 26 – July 24, 2017, four days per week: Monday-Thursday. 8:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. Including two teacher work days (one before and one after)
